There’s some concern that there should be a piano bar and that users would mistake the scroomer for such a thing if it stands alone. A few quick and dirty mockups based on a screenshot of Audun’s early scroomer implementation.

There’s a new idea on how the piano bar alone could allow changing the vertical view range: Handles on top and bottom of it, that can be pulled to resize the bar. Afterwards the bar is filled up or clipped to the track height.
