Nicolas made his choices from the large and small image link designs.
Large image links: I tweaked the headline and background colours.
It would be nice to have adaptible font size for both title and votes. The last image shows the regions that should be filled, left and vertically center aligned.
Small image links: same tweaks as above plus repositioned headline.
I would move the title text on 1 or 2 lines upwards a bit, but as the text needs to be generated, center aligning in the region should be good enough. Compare the first and last image of this set.
